HANDBUILDING CLASS

Saturdays, 10:30 am to 12:00 noon
limited to 5 students each class

Set of all 5 classes (paid in advance), $75 

Students are encouraged to sign up for all 6 classes, but drop-ins are welcome(if space is available), $20 each class

Prices include all clay, glazes and firing.
 
February 13
Tea Party! 
Each participant will make a teapot and a set of small cups, using slabs and pinch construction.

February 20
Place settings--Cups
Each participant will create a set of 4 cups using slab techniques. Emphasis will be on creating a design that will carry through on all of the items in the set. 

February 27
Place settings--Bowls
Each participant will create a set of 4 bowls using slab techniques. Emphasis will be on creating a design that will carry through on all of the items in the set. 

March 5
Place settings--Plates
Each participant will create a set of 4 bowls using slab techniques. Emphasis will be on creating a design that will carry through on all of the items in the set.

March 12 
Baskets
Each participant will make a clay basket with a handle and use two different techniques to decorate the basket--carving into the clay and/or adding clay designs on top of the basket's surface.
