A place for clay, creativity and community
Maureen Karlstad, resident potter

I made these mandala bowls after being inspired by mandala bowls that have been made in many different parts of the world over thousands of years. Pottery is an ancient artform, and I am to be a part of such and old and honored tradition! I am hoping to have workshops as soon the weather warms up, where participants can make their own mandala bowls!  These bowls are for sale in the online store--CLICK HERE.

Maureen's pottery can be found at VIVA Gallery.
The gallery is located at 217 South Main Street in Viroqua. CLICK HERE for more info.

Until the surge in COVID cases in Wisconsin is over, Pierce Hill Pottery will be closed.
My space is small and it's just not set up for groups of people to be in there for any length of time.
I will advertise any changes to this when it is safe to open up again.
Until then, hang in there, and STAY SAFE!

We form clay into a pot,
but it is the emptiness inside
that makes the vessel useful.
